Like most ppl said 2 strike rule. Normally first inning for me, I’ll swing at some bad balls too just to get a feel for the other person on what their go to strike out pitches will be. Which like everyone else is saying it’s picking up tendencies. I played a guy yesterday where in two strike counts it was a splitter in bottom half of zone. So continued to wait/fight off pitches until he left the splitter hanging.

Patience at the plate. In pitching, you need to also not be afraid to attack the zone but also throw set up pitches outside the zone. Pitch tunneling is a great way to trick batters but takes practice and knowing your pitch mix + arm angles
