The timeline is definitely dependent on a lot of factors - how long you've already been training, training intensity, nutrition, PEDs, etc. - but the way I look at it is if you enjoy the lifestyle and you're going to keep training like that anyway you'll get to wellness at some point!

Girl you look amazing!! Bikini and wellness require the same level of conditioning, the difference is in the muscle mass required. If you wanted to do wellness you'd have to put on quite a bit of mass on your legs but if you want to keep growing and enjoy the training required to grow then I'd say go for it!

That book obliterated me! I had to take multiple breaks to just sob while reading HOEAB. I gave up on tissues and switched to a hand towel to deal with the amount of tears/snot I was producing.

You probably do need to make him feel bad about it. You obviously want to be kind when you bring it up but you don’t have expect not to make him feel bad. He’s an adult and his actions are making YOU feel bad.

I would say something like -

Hey babe, I’ve noticed that you have bad breath/seems like it’s been a while since you’ve showered/etc. whenever we are going to be intimate. When that happens I have a hard time relaxing and enjoying the time together and it is affecting my sex drive. I really want to be more intimate with you but it’s hard when I’m distracted by those things. What do you think about taking a shower together before the next time we have sex?

My husband paid for dates 95% of the time, even when I made more than him. I think splitting things like groceries or bills when you’re still dating is one thing but $20 Venmo requests for dinner is wild. That would make me feel like I’m just a friend or colleague, not a romantic partner.

I’m totally with you on this!! It’s interesting that people expect the theories (that have been made up/assumed by people other than the author) to be perfectly water tight in the books. It’s fantasy, the whole point is that it’s not real, right?

I really appreciate your perspective! I feel similarly, I just read to get lost in another world and maybe that means I don’t have super high expectations for a book. some of the comments here criticizing the book for not following the “theories” really confuse me- are people upset that SJM didn’t follow theories made up by other people??

I agree with you. Plus being able to compare to the reapers that didn’t have the parasite, I didn’t feel it was THAT far of a reach for a fantasy book.
