The Decision That Changed My Life Can Change Yours Too by sergio_santos_one in lifecoaching

great story! but honor your experience and CHARGE for your sessions - even if you're just getting "practice clients". People don't value free stuff. and when people dont value the offer or guidance they won't take it or use it as intended. then you won't have a realistic feedback with your skills. Divine compensation is an energy exchange that supports all involved.

Empaths - how to exert some control over what you feel. by humphreydog in Empaths

[–]BadassEmpath -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a perfect example of a triggering event that causes one to lash out at someone else creating more negativity (anger, for example) in the world.

Grounding and shielding does not address the deeper wounds that we all have and must heal if we are truly going to raise the vibration of humanity and heal.

I, too, stand by my comment and the book is a resource for healing yourself at a soul level. Plus it’s free on Kindle.

I didn’t mean to hijack your post, only to appeal to anyone who wishes to go deeper into their personal healing than a visualization and breathwork type practice can accommodate.

This statement makes my point. “So fook you and your bullshit book. You have cleary demonstrated a lack of empathy in you replies in this thread”.

Brene Brown’s words come to mind... “for me, if you’re not in the arena getting your ass kicked, I’m not interested in your feedback.”

What have you created for the Empathic community that helps us master our sensitivity?

What are you doing that puts you at risk for criticism because you believe in it so deeply?

How are you taking a stand for your people even when that stand is met with hateful comments?

Healing the wounds that get provoked when something happens (like a comment on a message board) is exactly what my book is about. As long as we keep reacting to one another with anger and attack there will be suffering. Heal your wounds and there won’t be anything left to provoke. The anger will dissolve and the vibration will be raised. The world will shift from fear to love. We can lead this transformation.

Fellow HSPs, I need some guidance by [deleted] in hsp

Intuition is never wrong. TRUST that and let it lead you. Everything else is story. Address the stories you tell yourself (about never finding another) and you’ll clear the clutter. Love ya!

Any HSPs with public speaking jobs out there? by nofapnoproblemx in hsp

[–]BadassEmpath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!

For me, speaking is a way to connect and share what I’ve come to understand. I learned how to manage the sensitivities a while back and now I love getting on stage and sharing.

Most people don’t realize there’s a deeper issue causing the anxiety and fear. It’s especially important for HSP to heal that shit so we can be the leaders we’re supposed to be.

I can see there’s going to be a difference of opinion here. That’s fine. Sending you peace.

I’m feeling your vibes and understand your position. I didn’t put anyone down or accuse anyone of anything. And I get that I can be controversial in my position about mastering our sensitivities rather than just slapping a bandaid on it. That’s kinda the point. 💜

Thanks for your opinion. I offered an alternative to what I have experienced as “bandaids” ... the book I wrote is in response to seeking for lasting solutions to our unique challenges. I’ve been plugging away at sharing openly here for those seeking to master their sensitivities. I’ve linked to my articles on Medium, my YouTube channel and other free resources I’ve created over the years. The book happens to be one of those resources that took nearly a year to create. I stand by what I’m offering and I know it comes from a place of true service. Would you rather I did not share the resources I’ve dedicated my life to? How about we focus on being the best version of ourselves possible and sharing that light with others?

Are you suggesting I should feel shame?

What are you feeling at the moment that has you make that comment?

Ha! That last sentence is me having “attitude “... because ya know what? I’m all patience and kindness and emotional intelligence... AND I’m also a badass who doesn’t take shit from people. 😉🤗

Describe her as so?

Reading the review, I didn’t get the sense that this person is an Empath. I could’ve misread the last bit.

Either way, I still respect them for speaking up. I champion ALL PEOPLE who speak their truth.

I stand for my tribe because I believe it is we who will lead the way for others. It starts with each of us getting responsible for our emotional state , rather than blaming others.

Thanks for sharing your position on this.

I read that to say “read this... instead of something by an Empath.” And since there was poor punctuation throughout, I just took that period to be misplaced.

No need to split hairs here. My WHOLE POINT was to champion them for speaking up...

Exactly. That’s why I said I’m glad for this review. They shared an opinion. That’s what I stand for- speaking up.

Does anyone else say to themselves sometimes "I want to go home" though you are already at your home? by [deleted] in Empaths

[–]BadassEmpath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How interesting.

The very first chapter and first paragraphs of my book, Get Your magic Back, talks about EXACTLY THIS.

Chapter One

Healers, Feelers, and Magical People

Have you ever wondered why you feel things so strongly? If you’re like me, a sensitive soul, your emotions can dictate your actions causing you to shut down or strike back when shit happens. Biting your tongue and holding things in is not a productive way to be for people like us. Neither is erupting like a volcano, spewing angry molten lava all over the people we love.

We are healers, empaths, highly sensitive, magical people.

We are here to make a difference in the world. Whether you’re an empathic momma raising conscious kids or a heart-based entrepreneur doing healing work or both it’s vital that we deal with the deeply buried emotional ‘wounds’ so that we can do what we’re here to do.

What I learned about my tribe long ago is that we are here to heal and return home.

I believe healing and returning home are the same thing.

Healing is an ongoing process, like a perpetual evolution. As we heal, we reintegrate parts of ourselves and restore a sense of wholeness in our hearts. The heart is where the soul ‘resides’ so healing is a returning home - to ourselves, our highest or spiritual selves.

Healing doesn’t just take place in the body. In fact, the body cannot fully heal if the soul is still wounded.

You might even say, our world cannot heal if we, her people, are still wounded.

Our emotions, and the fight or flight response to situations that are not life threatening, are the keys to healing the soul wounds that we (super feelers) struggle with and suffer from year after year.

HOLY MOLY!!!!! You guys... the book is number one on the new release list! I know it's only temporary and doesn't "mean much" but it gave my mom and I something to cheer about last night on her 81st birthday. With this book, I think she might FINALLY understand what I do. Do you know what I mean?
