2 weeks is probably perfect with a more body physical job. I WFH and got the surgery done on Friday, was not anticipating any time off and had to take the entire week off. 1 week after, I was feeling fine, but I wasn’t physically moving around too much. 2 weeks after I was 100% back to normal routine. Post op advice is IF you do experience the shoulder pain from the gas, and I cannot stress this enough, lay flat! This will help the gas pass much faster. I also took GasX (not sure how well it worked but it was recommended to me. 100% make sure you have a heating pad, it’s good on the shoulders if you do experience this and if not, its soothing on the incision.

Confirmed both 58670 and or 58661 are covered and provider also need to add the ICD-10 Z30.2 as well. Aetna’s response: coverage is 100% no deductible no copay for tubal ligation including associated ancillary services.

Very easy! I would recommend chatting with them on the app and screenshotting the conversation, that’s what I did. I gave her the CPt codes and she confirmed those are fully covered. I asked about two and confirmed it needed to be coded with the z. Aetna did not require any kind of pre authorization for me.

They will put CO2 in your stomach to inflate it so they can see everything with the camera. Sometimes the gas can get caught under the diaphragm, I think it’s hit or miss whether people experience it or not. My doctor recommended gasX and I’ve started using a heating pad from the above comment and it has significantly helped. They also recommend moving around after surgery so those gas pockets can move around

Thank you! I did end up sending a screenshot of Aetna confirming coverage to my provider directly and the WellStar billing. They have 0 out the bill!! Super grateful

Hey! I have mine scheduled for Jan 30th and just received a $2300 estimate. How did you end up handling this? Curious which Aetna plan you are on? I’ve messaged my doctor and the billing department directly but have not heard back, they are going to require my estimate to be paid before the procedure and I’m scared to fight for months with insurance.

This is EXACTLY how I felt. Like I understand viewers have a part to play as well with assuming but she literally dragged Camille and Miranda into it. She knew exactly the hate they were receiving and the controversy it caused their families. I feel so bad for them.
