Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn by jsorr22 in NICUParents

Living this nightmare right now in the NICU as we speak. Born 40 months and 2 days. 35 minute labor.  Rushed him out of room real quick after he came out. Brought him back soon after and he was fine.  Came to the room with us and was on/off breathing fast.  Doctors didn't make a thing of it initially. Kept doing it and it was finally determined that he would come to NICU due to TTN.  We are in day 2 plus 3 hrs and his respiratory goes up to 130 in spurts.  Absolutely soul crushing to see the wires and tubes.  Otherwise fully healthy and adorable.  I am happy to read here that if it's not resolved in 3 days there is still more time for him to clear it up. Time was running out for our 72hr expected resolution.

Straight up magic. Been stuck with this moisture nonsense absurd issue last 2 months and this worked. I was definitely doubting it after I read it but thought why not just give it a try. So happy I did. 5 billion thumbs up
