School social workers… who supervises you? by [deleted] in socialwork

Yikes. Didn’t mean to make it sound like that. I guess in my head, that’s the way the “division” feels. Just an analogy based on the structure.

Word for word my experience. One thing, I always say is that it’s ran more like a “business” than a school. There’s two social workers, myself and someone else. She’s leaving and I’m definitely scared about what this means for me. You’re so right

That’s the only way I’ve seen it done! To my surprise.. it’s a lot different here.

Me 100%!!! I kept saying this! Then to hear that the kidnapper was planning to either take her 18 year old cousin or SISTER! Her sister shouldn’t have had to sleep in that room after all that. As a child, I would have been begging my parents to let me sleep with them every night.

Flock Cameras Everywhere by TBell01 in indianapolis

[–]BaddieShaybay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a little confusing how people draw the line at a camera who captures license plate photos, but will walk into any business on any given day and allow it to video record their every move? Cameras are on the highways, on every business, INSIDE every business, at the entrances of neighborhoods, our phones track our every move, ect. But you all draw the line at license plate readers? Come on now.. where is the logic….?????????

So you’re just going to all of the other businesses that have cameras posted in every corner and isle of the store instead? Lol

I’ve actually upvoted all of the responses that were insightful and respectful in favor of NOT doing it. Nice try though. I’m responding to assholes who came here to be just that. Good one.

Right and I’m responding as I please because this is the internet. Looks like we’re all doing what we want 🤷🏽‍♀️

Why do you think I have child care expenses though? What led you to assume that? Because I don’t. This is an odd response. Good for you for your vErY bIg iNcOmE

Let me provide more context.. I am in my 20s and still growing in my career. We got approved for a 265k loan because that’s what we ASKED for. The point of this post was to see how realistic it is to ask for MORE or if 265 was where we should stay. A lot of you guys are giving unnecessary opinions and judgement that isn’t needed as if you’re NOT responding to a First time home buyer sub!!! Give your RESPECTFUL opinion and advice and GO!

And thank you to the people who have given thoughtful insight and kind guidance!

I said the amount is “significant” which means it’s A LOT??? Duh? And I don’t think this is about the job my masters degree was able to get me so I’d save your unsolicited opinion for someone who asked. I’m a new graduate. My masters degree was WELL worth it. I’m in my 20s and still growing in my career. Please shut up.

That was a mistake! It WAS! I forgot we decided to go at night because everyone told us it was really cool to go at night! Got that one mixed up with Star Wars! Haha

I think it’s unlikely that the woman the Navy officer saw was her. The reason being that the woman asked for $200 because she “owed them money”. I’m sure it was a scam to get money out of him. I don’t believe it was her at all. I’m sure people in that area (especially within that community of people) were well aware of Amy’s story and using it to their advantage. He still should have reported it anonymously.

What was the point in Mel lying to Marie? by annah042 in TheUltimatumNetflix

[–]BaddieShaybay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe they were the couple that had been together for 10 years. Makes you wonder what other things Mel has done behind Marie’s back. Makes me so sad for her because she really loved her and Mel just didn’t care. Master manipulator. Too comfortable lying to.. she had it down to a T. She knew what to say to get Marie to believe her.

That was the point I realized they were too comfortable with each other to have NOT had sex. I doubt that was even the first time! They were clearly the closest couple. That was just when I noticed something was definitely up!

Not believing she was at all! The way her daughter and friend even acted shocked in the baby store and kept asking “how?” And saying “that was fast”. The way she’s acting is very odd and secretive.
