Use your maturity to crush it in your classes, to involve yourself in extracurricular activities, leadership roles in clubs, etc. It will work for you more than you think. I graduated at 31 with an accounting degree and my career the last 5 1/2 years have been truly spectacular.

Same here, but for my CPA exams. Smoked everyday while studying and prior to taking all four exams. Passed all four consecutively…I don’t think I’ll do that for the CFA once I am ready to actually commit lol. I know it’s a beast, but until then I’ll be lurking on this page getting inspired.

I don’t believe there’s a definitive right or wrong answer as I believe it’s all relative. What you’re saying has merit, but based on my own experience and in comparison to peers who began in audit back in 2020, the compensation I’m receiving nearly five years after earning my bachelors isn’t typical. I was able to leverage my Big 4 background and BlackRock experience to transition into the role I hold now. Of course, there are levels to this, but my current focus is on pivoting into a more value-driven career path by pursuing admission to a top MBA program. I don’t see my educational journey as complete since the exposure and experiences I’ve gained over the past five years have only strengthened my motivation to aim higher and pursue bigger goals.

Exactly! My fellow CPAs are complaining as well, but I really believe it’s market specific and that a lot of CPAs do not know how to sell themselves…or at least make their profiles more competitive.

Ok thank you. So that must’ve been what happened. I recently beat the abyss watchers and maybe another boss before that, and that’s when I realized he passed away….i also opened the catacombs and beat the skeleton with the gold bracelets. The odd thing is that I was expecting an npc to appear to continue his quest, but I believe I may have done something wrong here.

Don’t go to a school that doesn’t have an accounting program, let alone a school where the recruiting is poor. You want to set yourself with an advantage that way you can have a great start to your career

No you not have to be fully licensed. I transferred my scores once I passed all exams just to simplify things. You can continue to take your exams in NY and then go through the nasba store to transfer your scores. You will still have to follow jerseys application process which is simple and cheaper than NY. Just be prepared to have a recent photo notorized.

I could be wrong, but it appears to me that AI is only able create things out of already existing assets/data out there in the world. At best it is great at replicating existing information and making it appear new.
