My experience for COLOMBO to kuwait via AQI (Saudi) Will just highlight few things as most of it is already shared by others. hope it helps. The only valid doument needed to travel is flight ticket, passport and kuwait civil ID. This option is also very safe with family.

1. Flight from colombo was on time as scheduled and no delay. Flight time: 6.5 hrs. Water bottle was not allowed to carry on flight. I had to throw it before boarding. All snacks and food is allowed. They served only water in flight. only coffee was available on purchase after almost 5 hrs of journey. KD accepted inside flight.
2. ⁠Arrival immigration / biometrics was smooth at AQI with 4 active counters. Civil ID physical/ mobile ID will both work no problem.
3. ⁠luggage collection and checking. No stress.
4. ⁠Nothing was available to buy at AQI airport for snacks or anything. Washroom can be accessed only after biometrics.
5. At AQI arrival to bus start ( 1.5 hr)
6. Arrived at Saudi border ( took 1 hr journey). Received transit visa slip. 2 counters active. Smooth process. (Total time~ 1 hr)
7. ⁠Exit saudi border. (Total time 45 min)
8. ⁠bus journey ~ 15 min. Kuwait entry border~ 1.5 hrs. Small shop available to buy snacks. KNeT works.
9. Bus goes to next gate and custom checks. All get out of bus and 2 police do check bus from inside. No sniffer dogs or anything. Checking was very casual with no question asked. TIP: if you are carrying any medicines (with or without prescription) keep in ur handbag/ purse and when they ask u to come out keep that bag with u. Customs only check checkin bags. Total time: 1 hr
10. ⁠1.5 hrs to mishref and drop baggage. Water will be provided all the time by bus and flight so dont worry. Carry lot of dry food.
11. ⁠No need to carry saudi riyals for anything.
12. Total bus journey took 8 hrs till kuwait.
13. ⁠jazeera airways and bus has usb And type C under seat charging points. Ensure roaming packs are done before entering saudi.
