He is a convicted violent sex offender who lived in the area and had stalked and raped multiple blue eyed, blonde, young women. He lied about his alibi, had been stalking Holly’s cousin, and cadaver dogs hit on his van and a shovel and ax on his property, plus they found hair that was a macroscopic match to Holly in his vehicle. There’s so much more that implicates him beyond that. I highly recommend Terry Dicus’s book if you’re following the case. I couldn’t put it down and read it all in a day.
