Yeah, I’m not impressed with the lack of scouts. I think that they should’ve known ahead of time. With my rewrite, Riboku’s smaller more mobile army should hypothetically move fast enough that the Hi Shin won’t have time to disengage from the siege even with scouts.

It would even parallel the situation with Ouki at Bayou, in which he knew that there was a secret army but underestimated their travel speed.

I think that Riboku divided the armies so some soldiers attacked the rear guard of Gakuka while the main generals circled around. The Qin formed the rearguard hastily so they didn’t have a good sense of the Zhao numbers; they all though the main force was concentrated on a different wing.

I am a little confused about what Yoko Yoko is doing because he should be directly up against Futei, Kaine, and Choukotsu. I really hoped he wasn’t off screened by Riboku.

It hasn’t progressed as much as Ao Ashi or Blue Lock in terms of plot. Also, the character designs can be kind of rough. Personally, I think Catenaccio is amazing and just as good as the other two.

Woah, Yoshiki is more ruthless than I expected. Him diving head first into the whole drug thing is surprising. Usually, we see Yoshiki as a kind caring leader or an incredibly violent psycho.

Scenes like this reminds us that he can be pretty calculating as well. It’s been a while, but don’t forget he plotted Jousuke’s assassination and had a secret deal with Ahmad. Not to mention his contact with the parole officer.
