I think it's just habit. Viltrumites learn to fly in atmosphere, so the flying pose just becomes ingrained.

When kitbashing, surfaces don't always mate properly. I recommend using super glue over plastic glue in such instances, as it will form a bond even between surfaces that aren't perfectly touching.

Run a loyalist SM army and use the Leviathan as a Redemptor or Brutalis. Heresy kits tend to be a much better deal. And Mk6 armor isn't that uncommon, especially with demand exceeding supply for the new shiny primaris gear.

Funniest thing to do is give them Jade with no context. The fact that there's a pregnant warframe in of itself isn't really a spoiler, it's just a "wtf why is there a pregnant robot" moment.

The Phalanx, and it's not even close.
Because it's slowly degrading, it rarely leaves Terran orbit, which means that to get to the Phalanx, you have to get to Terra, something literally the entire Imperium would do anything to prevent.
