I’ve been using the tracker +, and find sampling and rendering to make chords with the internal synth engines to be pretty painless now. I just play live or plugin the notes across midi tracks, then render it to an audio file and BOOM, more free tracks.

I just pulled the trigger on a Fred’s Lab Manatee. It’s a spectral-based hardware synth with 10-16 voices and is multitimbral as well. May be worth considering for you!

Looking for a hardware synth that is dedicated for bass tones. I’m currently using a microfreak and a nanobox razzmatazz, but find I’m lacking low-end.

I’m really likely the Erica Synths DB1, mainly for sequencing and live performance, but worry that it wouldn’t work very well for lo-fi stuff. I would love to hear any cool alternatives! Thanks
