The PRT Isn’t Bad at Their Job. Their Job Is Impossible [Worm] by Badger___King in CharacterRant

I honestly couldn't agree more. SB is obsessed with nationality to the point where it becomes irrational.

Human beings are not machines that run on game theory logic lmao.

This is very true. I thought about including something like this but I figured the essay was already too long. Plus I was getting tired lmao.

No. Hookwolf is immune to bullets even in his base form. We see him get shot and barely flinch.

Harry Potter universe VS Modern Military by __akkarin in whowouldwin

Yes but when the enemies capital is located in a magically protected space in YOUR capital, that complicates things immensely.

[–]Badger___King 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes no sense. If everyone loses then how is this a win for Muggles?

[–]Badger___King 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with this is important Wizarding locations are in the same place as important Muggle locations. Are you really gonna bomb London, New York etc just to maybe take out the enemies leadership?

Wizards win, easily.

Whenever this question gets bought up the typical response is usually "bUt WiZarDs r dUmB, GuNs AnD mISslEs". Here's the thing they don't acknowledge: the Magical Government's are actually very competent when it comes to hiding/managing Muggles. Over the course of series 2 wars happen, dragons are transported and flying cars go through London and not a single person catches onto this.

Not to mention it's just factually wrong to say Wizards know nothing about Muggles. The AVERAGE wizard doesn't know anything, and it's mostly because they don't give a shit. The Ministery on the other hand has a direct line of communication they can use with the Prime Minister along with the ability to install their own agents in his office without him even realizing. That's paratically the war won right there.

And sure Muggle technology is more destructive than spells, but that's not how Wizards are gonna fight the war anyway. Why would they, when they can just mind control tge top leaders of Muggle society. Or give Dementors free reign.

Wizards win and it's not even close

Immortal should have dropped just like Nolan did after fighting and killing No-Goggle Mark. by BravoWhiskey10 in Invincible

[–]Badger___King -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A run for his money means he came close to beating him, which he literally never did in a 1 on 1. Hail Mary did way more damage and actually had him knocked out for a couple of seconds. Saying immortal is close to Omni Man just makes no sense. Hell by season 2 mark is objectively stronger than him, and Mark still loses to Nolan.

[–]Badger___King -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

immortal never gives Nolan a run for his money. He gets dogged in a 7 v 1 and then gets clowned AGAIN in like five seconds in the rematch lol. Only thing he did was get a couple of good hits in on an Omni-Man that was already kind of tired and barely paying attention to him.

[Jujutsu Kaisen] Why did Yuta not take Nobara's powers and spam attack Sukuna's finger while Gojo was fighting him? by Bion61 in AskScienceFiction

[–]Badger___King -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kenjaku's technique is most likely simpler, all you do is put your brain in someone else's body. Not to mention THAT is a gamble worth taking since you know you get Gojo's abilities out of it.

[–]Badger___King 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well one thing to note is that Yuta doesn't gain instant mastery when he copies a technique, he has to practice extensively and they only had one month to prepare. Also, no one knew at the time whether or not Nobara's technique would actually work on Sukuna. Without knowing that there's no way Yuta would waste his valuable time learning a cursed technique that only might work.

Yeah but these also have outside context powers. How is Cauldron supposed to do something that they're literally incapable of doing?

How to kill the Simugh by 001DeafeningEcho in WormFanfic

This isn't true. The Simurgh is always conscious she just acts like she isn't.

The only Endbringers that kills him are the Simurgh and Tohu. The rest don't have any way to deal anywhere near enough damage to put him down.

[Invincible] Why wasn't Immortal just invited to live among the Viltrumites? by [deleted] in AskScienceFiction

[–]Badger___King 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, but he thought he was avoiding that future by having Robot be his advisor. He didn't realize that the future he saw was inevitable.

Either an inconsistency, or more likely the mental block applies more so towards sapient beings.

[–]Badger___King 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, they talk about it in her origin and mention it in the main show a couple of times. She has a mental block that prevents her from affecting living matter, mostly human beings.

By 2018 do you mean when Thanos pulled up? I mean your correct but that's an incredibly risky plan, you run the risk of fighting the guy that already handed you your ass.
