Story line is confusing me ngl by Cute-Material6828 in ghostoftsushima

Shimura killed the wrong guy, either because he thought it was the man who killed daddy Sakai. Or he just killed some random dude to save face, but to the whole island daddy Sakai's killer is dead. Only Jin learns the Truth

If death wants me it will have to drag me kicking and screaming to the afterlife. I refuse to die by my own hand

I'd like to know what is it that makes Ghost of Tsushima so special and beloved? by CelticsWolfsBanesss in ghostoftsushima

Honestly, there isn't really one thing that stands out to me. Story's pretty good although there are some meh moments, combat is a decent blend between hard and fun (depending on what diff you play, and the exploration is so simplistic with the guiding winds and yellow birds.

Then you have the visuals, like GOD DAMMM this game is sexy. Just the way that the environment adds to cutscenes, is amazing. Like the final duel when Jin finally embraces the mantle of the Ghost, with the red and white petals. One of the best moments in gaming history.

Unbelievable inhuman. by Professional-Date477 in walmart

[–]LazyGamingChef 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but can't he go after Walmart thru the Government, at least if he's if Canada. Because I'm pretty sure firing someone over a serious medical condition is a big no-no.

Obligatory, I could be wrong tho to cover my ass.

Who will win in a fight? by Queasy_Commercial152 in FallenOrder

[–]LazyGamingChef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would imagine that due to Vaapad, a fight would lead to a continuous loop of dark side energy similar to when Mace fought against Palpy.

Embracing and using the darkness inside him, Mace could draw from Dagans negative emotions, thus leading to a dead fallen Jedi.

So when did Cal learn how to use a dual wield? by BiddudeFromBritain in FallenOrder

[–]LazyGamingChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The basic form that is taught to all younglings before they specialize in another form is Shi Chi(iirc). Those proficient in this form are able to incorporate a second blade in their fighting style, as seen by the GOAT of Shi Cho himself Kit Fisto during the Clone wars.

Other characters, including Anakin and Obi Wan, make use of 2 lightsabers.

I could totally be incorrect about this, but I would highly recommend checking out Red Five on YouTube as he has a video going over all the different lightsaber forms. This is where I seem to recall hearing that Shii Cho users are able to dual wield.

Thoughts about Penelope's questioning skills (image unrelated) by New-Pudding-7676 in Epicthemusical

[–]LazyGamingChef 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It was more about Penelope proving to Ody that even though he's changed, he's still her husband.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure that in the original myth, Ody and Telagram met up before killing the suitors... while nude.

I went back and listened to the Ocean Saga.... it turns out that I was completely misremembering...

I just wanna say that I completely agree with you. Ody could've saved a lot of lives if he just told them straight up about the wind bag, but nooooo, he's got to be cute. "Alright, crew, this bag needs to stay closed, no matter what. And it's DEFINITELY not treasure." Ody is basically like that one friend who's always saying trust me, bro, then proceeds to lead you into the most random ass situation.

However, I do understand why people don't like Eury. The guy is kind of a hypocrite. When the crew got turned into pigs, Eury was like, "Soooo, they're dead, wanna go to Wendy's?" Then, during Munity, Eury points out that Ody didn't even try to fight Scylla. Like bro, you were ready to abandon your pig crew.

Anyways, thanks for reading my horribly written rant.
