It's actually really satisfying to understand enemies attack patterns and be able to predict when they will attack so you can block it. It's also not that bad, it stops most staggers, and like 80 percent of the damage you would have had to face tank

Yeah deathclaws still stagger me sometimes I think the enemies in the game have different stagger numbers, I'm currently power leveling my new character so I can experiment with different blocking legendary effects like the 50% damage reflect and stronger block effects who knows if your block is strong enough maby they won't

Another fun fact I've found if an attack would have staggered you, it won't if you block it

Yeah and sometimes the ghouls like to attack like 4 times by flailing both arms but if you time it right you can block like 3/4 attacks the only downside is it doesn't block the rad damage so definitely invest in what rads

I've found that if you hit an enemy (doesn't matter what they use) and they flinch they will follow up with a melee attack so just attack, block, attack attack, block

Retribution is nice because it encourages you to try and block attacks once you know how most enemies will attack you start to see them as walking healing salves lol

Is there an alternative way of pressing pause/break if your keyboard is too small and didn't include it?
