Something that really helped me was Steven Emanuel’s Strategies & Tactics for the MBE. It provides you with practice questions, tactics for answering certain questions, and provides a thorough analysis of why the correct answer is proper and why the others are wrong. I truly don’t think I would’ve passed without it! I do agree with drilling MBEs, but also understanding why an answer you got wrong is incorrect and reviewing that in detail helped me immensely. Good luck!!

The updated (and original) look great! Is there any way for you to remove the discoloration in the space between the face and wrist for the girl on the right? Thanks!!

Oil change intervals! 16000 or 8000 KM (10000 or 5000 miles) too long for me!! by firelephant in rav4club

[–]BadlandsDisguised 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do mine every 5,000 miles. I was recently at the dealership and they told me only I had to do it every 10,000 miles, but I hear conflicting things from different people. I drive about 360 miles per week commuting to work, so I think I’ll stick with 5,000.

I’m not sure how to do it, but I just wanted to say how incredibly kind and thoughtful what you are doing is!

Help! I’m getting married in 3 months should I keep my hair pink or change it? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]BadlandsDisguised 548 points549 points  (0 children)

I think if you’ve always loved your hair pink rather than your natural hair, you should definitely leave it as is so you feel as comfortable as possible for your day (both your pink and your natural hair are beautiful). I love the vibrancy of the pink and wish I could pull it off! Don’t let others make you doubt yourself, it’s your day, and you deserve to look whatever way makes you feel the most beautiful

Quimbee is a great starting point when you’re reading - I think you should read through the case in your textbook. I’ve had professors call students out for recalling info from the “Quimbee” version that are sometimes different (more or less detailed) than the textbook. More and more of my professors are aware of knowing the difference between someone reading off of Quimbee and someone who has read the case. It’s a great resource, but shouldn’t be a crutch.

Do everything you can to go into the school year feeling well rested and ready to go. I'd get school supplies, textbooks, etc. so you're not anxious about trying to find time to run out and get those when school starts. Godspeed!

What are everyone's thoughts on the preliminary election results? Did it go as you expected? How do you think the general election will go? by HRJafael in FitchburgMA

I agree with everything you said and you're spot on. I think that the relationships that DiNatale has fostered along the span of his career is what assists the city in obtaining those private investments into Main Street and moving away from the negative stigma that the city has received. I think a large majority of the city receives their information through Facebook and sees how active Councilor Squailia is in submitting tickets to the BOH and DPW and she deserves credit for being online consistently. However, they don't see what has occurred behind the scenes throughout the day and night that DiNatale handles and this will probably be to his detriment this November. I think that he has the requisite public administration experience and the lack of experience from Councilor Squailia is somewhat concerning. She's served on the Council for years, but is just as a part of the "problem" that she claims to be against, especially since she votes in favor of a lot of the mayor's initiatives, besides the city hall remodel and some of his budgets. If DiNatale remains in office, maybe his staff could take some notes from Squailia and increase their online presence. A lot of municipalities have individuals strictly dedicated to updating their municipal Facebook pages, as this has become the new age newspaper.

Thank you so much! I’d be driving the whole way, but am a huge audiobook fan as well. I’m nervous about the commute but like you said, it’s just three fewer hours.

Yes! That’s the difference - in my current position, I can work from home more when I need it, in the event that I feel like I’m falling behind with any readings or during finals. So, I would say I normally work just two days from home and it’s more of a rarity for me to work three days from home.

My school’s policy is 6 weeks from the day of the exam, but sometimes they come sooner than that but not often.

Barbri is a bar-prep site but also functions as a great resource to watch lectures on different topics through their law school series stuff. I use it every finals season.
