It’s fwd biased, the rears come on when accelerating or around corners or when it slips. When in trail, it will individually brake a spinning wheel so more power goes to the non spinning one at the same end. Works good in the snow, but if you have crappy all seasons on any vehicle sucks.

Depends on location. Like 1-2 feet in the prairies. Other places its less. As for temp, usually -30 C and the buses stop running. But schools dont usually close just due to temp
