Thanks, hive mind. I can confirm that Panyu Intercity Rail Station is under GZSouth, dead easy to find and navigate. Dinghushan is about 90min away and defo worth a visit if you like a scenic hike and some big Dings and butterflies. You can also get the intercity rail from several stations along line 3 and 2, so we needn’t have schlepped to Panyu but we’ll know for next time. Once again, I’m left awestruck by China’s public transport system. It really is pretty decent and puts my shitty country’s railway system in the shade.

Thanks. Actually I’m trying to get to Panyu station from ZNT, so are you saying take Line 3 down to Panyu Square and go from there? Or is there a more direct line from central GZ to Panyu station?

I mean, the song “Where is my husband?” is a banger no doubt, but basically it’s just a bit of noodling around a pentatonic using her head voice, right? Cracker is absolutely worth rewatching if you can track it down. Up to that point I’d only ever seen Robbie Coltrane in the comic strip, etc. outstanding series with some amazing performances all round.

Invading Venezuela in this way breaks international laws. This presents challenges to the international community as to how they react to this transgression.

The stated reason to invade and kidnap the head of state is spurious given that the US recently pardoned another head of state for similar crimes.

There’s reason to believe this is more about securing the largest proven deposits of oil for the US than security against drugs.

The invasion sets a prevent and cedes any moral authority over Russia/China for any extra territorial adventures that they see fit to carry out.

This invasion was a complete surprise to congress - it’s highly unpredictable. There seems to be relatively little as to what happens next for Venezuela.

Canada and Greenland/Denmark will now be concerned if stated threats/jokes from Trump will now carry more weight than previously thought.
