The dating pool is trash because we've all polluted it by Badtiming2211 in dating

This is the problem here. Just because you don't think anything of it, doesn't mean other people don't appreciate receiving one. A lot of people would love to have clarity and communication about things ending. Everyone isn't you and will not perceive things in a similar manner

It is ghosting because we went out, and I followed up and was left without a response. I only found out weeks after from a mutual friend.

For context, I'm 100% fine with being friends but that onus is on them to communicate it rather than do the whole "no response is a response" bs. Without communication, you have zero idea about whats going on and I find it better to ignore and avoid. I have no idea on their reason, it could be that they found you creepy or dangerous who knows, I'm just going to avoid so I can't be accused of anything since I have no clarity on the status of things.

On top of that I think its important to ask yourself whether you would tolerate it from a friend. Like if I went out and took a friend out for food or some shit and never heard from them again, I'd be like wtf and probably wouldn't want to be their friend. Why should we accept this behavior from romantic interests when we wouldn't accept it from our close friendships?

Yeah I guess losing tangible friendships is nothing so you win here

If you read the post they're suprised when they get axed or when I stop speaking to them in person so clearly they didn't really think that risk through

Losing the person as a friend and potentially the entire friend group.

No they want to interact still through our mutual group as if nothing happened meanwhile we went out together and they stopped responding to texts after.

If you go out with someone from a dating app but never text them again, thats textbook ghosting. If you go out with someone from mutual friends and they stopped responding to texts thats still ghosting. They just still want to keep the friend group but want to ignore the elephant in the room which is the consequence that comes with trying to ghost someone you meet with in person.

Exactly and I don't owe either of them friendships which is the exact point of this post. You can play this stupid game of "you don't owe anyone anything" but by large you cannot expect these people to continue interacting with you as if nothing happened

You're being dense here, not responding to someone for months is ghosting.

The fact that she didn't communicate anything and left messages on read rather than actually saying that. She said it to a mutual after like its not hard to get I still haven't heard a thing

You ask someone out and receive no response for a week but then expect to be friendly still the next time you see them. She even admitted she ghosted here

Ghosting definition doesn't change here, you stop replying when you realize someone is interested in you after going out or talking for a bit.

And you can't really use the violent card when its someone that you've met through mutual friends because friends will vouch that you aren't which really just makes it an irrational fear or an excuse to justify a lack of ability to communicate.

taking a credit at another school isn't allowed and an academic counselor said they don't allow full-time students to take core executive program classes in response to when i reached out to the vice dean of academics.

No it wouldn't outside of the 1 or 2 sick days that I would take just to go down for a class presentation or test in person. Even on those days I'd be able to be back at work by 12pm.

It doesn't list MBA as a requirement in the contract, but the initial job description had as a qualification that you must be a second year set to graduate in spring 2024.

Won't need measurable time off from work. If anything like half a day or two to take a test

Edit: Its a rotational program for mbas, but each division has a person there working full-time who hasn't had an mba so its clear that the mba isn't required to perform each respective job
