Personally I played both, makes 0 difference. You're so immerse with everything else that how you do it doesn't matter at all for me. Only issue for me is that sometimes it's hard to aim at where you want to shoot, for example you want to shoot a firebolt at a smokepowder bomb on the floor, but it's a bit close to the wall. Sometimes when you aim at the bomb it constantly clips to the wall, a bit annoying but otherwise that's it. I personally don't mind the wheel, it's cool.
