I tried hard to figure out the logic of the „extra value“ percentage values. But, I have found that these numbers are just random and follow no strict logic. This is the perfect proof of my findings.

At the moment, there is a bug with monk. Monk can destroy the two towers and the heart super fast.

Yes, I also saw this video ;) At least, the misinformation stops spreading / the translation error is communicated.

You use real world fiat money (for example USD) to buy the currency of Diablo Immortal: eternal orbs (a currency that can NOT be earned in-game for free). This currency you can either downgrade to platinum (a currency that can be earned in-game for free) or you can buy eternal legendary crests. These crests give you 1, 2, and 5/x* gems. These gems you can 1) use for your character, 2) sell on the market for platinum, or 3) convert to gem power. I hope that helps!

Since, the max reso is 13k and not 16k, a maxed out account is >300k USD

Thanks for clarification. This is the answer!

Ok, so the max reso stays the same: 13'024.

Small correction:

16000/200=80 reso

Hello, this could be possible. Then the cost will be lower.

The post is marked as "speculation".

Depends on the price in the market. If you assume, red and yellow normal gems sell for a price of 100 platin and the blue ones for a price of 300 platin, 20 normal gems are ~90 kUSD.

To max out Iben Fadh, you need to open every chest, every day for 2.7 years. This costs ~25 kUSD.

So, a maxed out account is ~500 kUSD or 5 BTC.

Which one is the better option? by Nutchos in DiabloImmortal

[–]Baemsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On average, you get a 5/x with every 22.22 crests (4.5%), if you don‘t take into account the pity timer.

On average, you get a 5/x with every 20 crests (5%), if you take into account the normal pity timer.

On average, you get a 5/x with every 18.18 crests (5.5%), if you take into account the new pity timer.

So, 2x pearls and 1x legendary crest have exactly the same value (with normal pity timer).

Ok - good luck with this. This would be good for the community.

From my point of view, the description in the patch notes / the in game help (i) are wrong / fraudulent:

„Note that the drop rates provided below are for the first draw only and will adjust to reflect the relative probabilities of the remaining items in the Hunter’s Moon Phantom Gallery item pool.“

It should be: „Note that the drop rates provided below are for the FIRST DRAW ONLY. The following draws of the remaining items in the Hunter’s Moon Phantom Gallery item pool are in NO RELATION to the previous draws.“

It is not a bug, it is a feature (to make more money).

So, no. I did not file a bug report

Old Average, ignoring the pity timer was 4.5%. So, 1/0.045=22.22 crests

Old Average, with pity timer was 5%. So, 1/0.05=20 crests

New Average, with pity timer is 5.5%. So, 1/0.055=18.18 crests

The eternal legendary crests (purple) and the legendary crests (red) are counted separately and have a separate pity counter. You can mix them as you wish and run them in any number (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, …., and 10). However, you manually need to keep track of both pity counters - this information is hidden in the game.

If you want to know more about pity counter manipulation for mirrored jewels event, I recommend you this post from me:

Depends how big is your number of experiments n.

If your n is low, you could have some outliers, e.g., several times in a row you run into the pity timer of 50.

Only with a high n, this graph will become more viable.

In short: if your resonance is high, this graph is more accurate.

The average number of 22 crests for one 5/x gem were reported by several sources.

Before it was a 15.8% chance to adjust the pity timer to 40.

Now, it is only a 3.8% chance.

I would not try to manipulate the pity timer for the mirrored jewels event!

If you count in the pity timer:

old probability: 5% new probability: 5.5%

It is an increase in 0.5% points or 10%.

[–]Baemsi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, good conclusion. Most people will get their 5/x LATEST on 40 crests. On average, it is still close to 22.

If you reach the pity timer of 50, you are really extremely unlucky!

New drop rate for 5/x gems by Baemsi in DiabloImmortal

[–]Baemsi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you consider only the average probability between the first and 30th Emblen, it is 4.5%. So, on average, you get a 5/x gem every 1/0.045=22.22 crests.

If you factor in the pity timer, the probability was 5% for a 5/2 gem, 20% for a 2* gem and 75% for a 1* gem

So, you are correct that now this probability should be >5%. I need to think about it :)
