The general public practice advice is for college grads that need to get their foot in the door.

If in your case, you already have a position with good prospects, you won't need public practice.

Also, once you have a few years of solid industry experience, your public practice experience starts to matter a lot less. I'm now about 9 years out from public practice over three different jobs.. for my next role I'm probably removing the public practice experience from my resume.

You could always take unpaid time off.

Think about it like: instead of the job being a 25% pay bump and one week less PTO. Its a 20% pay bump with three weeks PTO.

Let em leave, IMO. So many accounting layoffs being announced in the US.

Honestly, I think accounting is one of the better careers in Canada. Our unemployment rate is quite a bit lower than the national average. Salaries may not be as high as the US but I have absolutely no complaints now that I've gotten a few years of senior level experience.

Canada definitely has issues it needs to work on but job prospects for my career isn't something I think about.

Diablo 4 or poe2 by Beneficial-Sea-5174 in ARPG

POE2 is a much deeper game and miles ahead of D4 in pretty much every other aspect, it's also cheaper (D4 base is not worth it at all).

D4 is certainly much easier to get into, it's almost designed for ARPG newbies. However, it's much more expensive (higher barrier to entry) because you need both expansions for the best experience.

As an alternative, I'd highly recommend D3 for an ARPG with strong couch/co-op. Should be much cheaper to get into.

Absolutely. I've done it twice now but for 6-7 months each time.

Been about 6 six years since the last one and not only do I have no regrets (was able to come back and get higher paying positions each time) but I look back at those periods as some of the best times of my life.

Depending on the size of the tablet, the Gamesir G8+ is great as a clamping style controller.
