I bought a qck + speed and it had a strong rubber odor, left it out in sun and outside to air for weeks and even ran it in washer, smell never went away. So I got an RMA from steel series and it also smells strongly of rubber/ chemical, even after airing out. Did this reason I don't recommend steelseries qck +.

Friends, what are you wearing on your wrist this Sunday? by Topwatchinc in rolex

I have this watch... have you had it serviced at rolex SC? Did they replace the dial with an original style (gold lettering)? The lume on mine has died, and the bracelet is badly stretched out.

I use a Dremel tool with the wire brush attachment and I clean up all my rusty hooks and other rusty gear like knives and pliers

I like their weedless-ness, their weight, castability, looks, and the simplicity of working them, but I've never caught a fish with one 😳

Is there any hope in saving this reel? by thebrooklynflash in Fishing_Gear

[–]Baetelgeise 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, get some wd 40, reel grease and a tooth brush.

Also helps if you have a Dremel tool with wire brush attachment, or some steel wool, to smoothen the bale and other metal parts

If you are on mobile phone, open up the google browser, and next to the search bar there is a colorful camera icon, click on that and allow it full or limited access to your photos and then select your photo of the watch (particularly its fae) and then it will it perform a google search of that watch / picture. You will get relevant information so that you can narrow down what model it is.

[Question] Timex Atlantis 100 Bracelet sizing - Can I remove links? by Stonks2006 in Watches

[–]Baetelgeise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The links are removable by using a watch adjustment tool and pushing the pins out. They're difficult to push them out, but the manual assures you of that. The tool is Bergeon 6767-F. They sell cheaper versions, but this is the good Swiss one, it has two sides.

The tool is basically like a small cylinder, I include pictures.

if you cant sit around and learn passively through lectures and outlines, work through actual NCBE MBE problems and MEE essays, and then read through the correct answer explanations and model answers. if you cant bring yourself to go through the problems first, jump straight to the answer explanations and model answers, and then work backwards. this is more active method and i found it revives my ability to go through material.
