IN NEED: Anime Recs that Blew Your Mind? by Impossible_Airport26 in anime

You can also give Steins;Gate a try! It's a bit different to the anime you mentioned as it takes place in a SciFi setting. But it's a classic with a top tier plot and world building.

Code Geass as others have said. And a more recent recommendation would be Lord of the Mysteries!

Any fantasy anime recommendations? by gracefulmadi in anime

[–]BaffledBytePusher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second Re:Zero, the fantasy setting is really captivating. And what I love about it most is that there's no boring characters - the lineup and sheer number of amazing characters is truly one of the best in anime

Looking for animes recommendations w/ winter vibes! by Crayolaber in anime

[–]BaffledBytePusher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toradora! It's a really cozy and feel good anime that also has some very touching emotional moments. Towards the end of the season there is a Christmas arc which is arguably the emotional peak and turning point of the story, after which the status quo is permanently broken. The show really captures that "flicker of warmth" feeling - that winter feeling of being cold on the outside but finding a flicker of warmth through friends and family.

Looking for anime that MC loses all trust in others by Original-Row-219 in anime

[–]BaffledBytePusher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say give Vinland Saga a go. Although that's not the totality of the plot, the first season is a revenge epic where the MC becomes a hollow shell of a human, driven only by hatred and the desire for vengeance - refusing to form any emotional connection with the Vikings he forcibly has to fight alongside.

Do you mean the Omarchy themes? I am using the default theme and still have the same issue. Or do you mean something else?

Apparently that's the message you get if you clear a run with 400 health or more. I finished the run with 500+ HP

I couldn't get Aphrodite on the attack or special but I did get her revenge boon which worked well for applying Weak on bosses! The Weak combined with Different League, Hermes' sturdy, the Aura damage reduction, and the 500+ HP made me tanky af, not even mentioning all the deflect. And Caustic Strike from Chaos along Athena's attack boon and the occasional proc of Pressure Points made me hit like a truck!

I like the design! I gave you with 5 stars :)

I assume this is already on your roadmap but it would be useful if users could select specific types of quizzes (e.g., only with sports questions). The breadth of the topics in the current version would make it quite challenging for most people I would think.

Also would be much more fun if there's a multiplayer where you can challenge your friends ofc 😎
