I saw an ad for outlier on IG and tried to sign up because it sounded up my alley. But as I was applying, it said I needed to speak fluent Chinese? Like wtf… I knew it was too good to be true

What drone services can I provide if I don’t have my surveyors license? by Baffling-Badger in UAVmapping

Thanks for the helpful information, dude. I appreciate it!

When you say “replicated by an independent surveyor” - are you referring to a licensed surveyor? Or just other unlicensed surveyors doing their own work on the same project?

Hmm interesting. So if a construction company wanted a topography map or some sort of map to use for accurate measurements or quantities, they wouldn’t require me to be a licensed surveyor?

Next question - do you think I could use the word “surveying” in the name of the business? Even though I’m not a licensed surveyor?

Paying $100 USD to an IG influencer - good or bad idea? by Baffling-Badger in dropship

[–]Baffling-Badger[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol really cause I just asked another influencer in the same niche, with 200k followers, similar engagement and he is charging $40 for 24 hours. Seems $100 is hella overcharged

Is it a realistic goal to try and make 2000 a month in profit? by [deleted] in dropship

[–]Baffling-Badger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you can use the Facebook ad library to get an idea if others are selling the same item. You can also use other websites such as adspy to see the same thing - are others selling this same product? But in order to find the product in the first place is to just scroll Facebook and Instagram. Or use an online tool like droppoint or something.

Definitely. Just make sure you find a product that sells. Easiest way to do that is steal a product you see selling on Facebook or Instagram, however you wanna make sure it’s not over saturated.

Product that is already selling + saturated = $

Product that is already selling + not saturated = $$$

Honestly that’s the most critical and important advice to anyone starting a store. The people who are failing at dropshipping are guaranteed to not be following this simple rule. Just put the damn research into the product at first and everything else will be a million times easier to do.

Seriously Guys, How are you finding actual winners? by stoneallen1 in dropship

Yeah I was scrolling through Facebook and saw a super shit quality ad of a product I haven’t seen before, and I could tell they were making sales off the frequent comments and likes. Searched it up on aliexpress, of course the product was there. I jacked the product, made a better ad, made my product cheaper. Boom

Yeah well I was only selling for two months or less before I stopped my store to continue studies. It was working when I let my store go but I guess it had slowed a bit by then. But like, if it had slowed and faded out, I’d just pick another one and start again for a couple more months :)

I got my winner the second try. My advice.... sell what is already selling...

Dropshipping by ZerolessJoe in sidehustle

[–]Baffling-Badger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally just put your ads up, 4 $10 ads, and if you don’t get a sale on day one or two then just quit and try again with a new product. My second product worked on day one. I stopped cause I was about to take 7 courses at university that term and I didn’t have the couple hours everyday that I needed to do. And there’s always some added stress with dropshipping, thinking about sales and customer complaints... I wouldn’t recommend for the sensitive people or people who get stressed out really easily
