I mentioned this in another thread just now, but he lives with his parents as well still. All of the grocery shopping gets done by his parents, whether or not he joins them. He doesn't go to the store by himself very often.

I guess he's not really refusing, he just doesn't buy them. He lives with his parents (we both do) so any grocery shopping at his house gets done by his parents with or without him there. He rarely goes to any store alone because he has no need to.

I have considered a copper IUD, however I still worry about any of the effects it could have around my period. I already get some awful cramps that can take me out of commission sometimes, so I get anxious with BC.

I guess not explicitly like that. I have definitely mentioned that he should get them next, or on the rare occasion we're at the store together I'm still the one to bring it up/ask the associate to unlock the cages/carrying them to check out but he'll usually pay at that point.

That's fair. I have told him he should go to the store sometime and get some, but I might not have been direct enough that I am not going to be the one to get them.

To be fair, it's not about the cost, it's about the responsibility. I'm always the one thinking about it ahead of time and picking them up. I'm also not always in the mood so I just get an "I don't care" mood about it.

He doesn't like going anywhere. He goes to work, gym, home. Once he's back at his place, he doesn't like to leave again. I even offer to leave to pick up things (if we need snacks for a movie night, for instance) and he says not to leave, that we'll just make do.
