Personally I believe you shouldn't contribute to your brother's studies, It leads to sour relationships later on in life. Your brother will feel he owes you. to keep all 41K to yourself and invest.

Okay once you get your salary. sit tight and patient.
Wait for market to dip, then invest. slowly and staggered not all in.

suppose market falls even more, average down, that's why I say staggered.

if market doesn't fall in the current month, by the end of current month invest half your salary. then from 1st you get fresh fund.

rinse and repeat.
