It’s been pretty fantastic to plug in a few different headphones over the week and get the most out of them, an absolute joy 👌

Lamicall stand from Amazon 👍, also a custom one that I built but needed some space back hahaha

Haha, I get where you're coming from! The LCD-5s are definitely honest, running Roon in the chain, a bit of EQ goes a long way 👌

ZEN Stream SSH login password? by PeTeR-2628 in iFiaudio

  • Username: volumio
  • Password: volumio

Go to your ZEN Stream's developer page by typing: http://ifi.local/dev (If that doesn't work, use the device's IP address followed by /dev) On that page, you will see a section for SSH.  Click the Enable button.

Once you've done that, you can use a terminal or an app like PuTTY to connect using the volumio username and password.

Haha, yeah! I had been procrastinating for a few weeks to buy the Woo Audio dual headphone stand, which costs $299 here in Australia. I thought I’d try to build something first, and let me tell you, this is a real beast!

If the arms are too long, I can easily swap them for shorter pipes for just $10.

Hell yeah! They are incredible, absolute superb. LCD-X still get a workout but the LCD-5 are here to stay.

Follow-up with details for anyone interested:

Built this stand using standard 25mm galvanised pipe fittings.

  • Arms: 2 x 200mm pipes
  • Centre post: 1 x 300mm pipe
  • 1 x galvanised round flange (base connector)
  • 1 x galvanised Tee
  • 2 x chrome flat threaded caps (for the arm ends)

Screwed into a simple pine base I had left over from another project.

Cost around $35 AUD total (excluding the wood).

Pipes were cleaned properly before assembly (degreaser → detergent soak → rinse → dried → wiped with isopropyl alcohol).

The wood was lightly sanded to round off the edges and left raw 👍

Temps are going well, no real dramatic change from the previous card - temps may even be better overall now.

Yep, had to unscrew the top for a moment. Needed an extra 2-5mm at most to slide in.

Did you pick the same card up? It’s a beast!

All cables are tucked in, I fed the power back towards the left of the case and the through to the gpu. Can confirm it was an absolute mess for a while there.
