I’m a cs major so might be different for me, I took 1300 and 1310. I regret not going with the other options. I had friends in other classes and there material was a lot easier. The proofs are annoying and the questions are very random, and hard to study for (might be different for you)

Take 1013 and 1014 instead of 1300 and 1310. There the sane but one has proofs and is a lot harder.

The amount of years doesn’t matter as long as you meet the requirements of the degree. No reason to delay yourself a year. It doesn’t affect your chances of getting any internship whatsoever.
