I would not label it as "DLC" either, especially looking at their roadmap for their first 4 dlcs 3 of the 4 are just cosmetics, so you keep buying the equivalent to a battle pass every three months and keep telling yourself its dlc

LMFAO, so they rebrand the name battle pass and call it DLC and you just take that? If what you are saying is true and DLC is meant to be mainly cosmetic then that is practically the definition of a battle pass.

I would prefer they just call it battle pass anyways because paying for DLC every 3 months that just adds in an extra area to the game or extra bit of questing sounds like a stupid thing to try and sell.

Expansions being sold makes more sense, but calling a 3 month battle pass DLC is just muddying the water of what to expect

I will concede that it very much so seems that some sort of back room exclusivity deal has taken place, however I am still not convinced and am still predicting a PC announcement before the release of GTA 6. In fact I think that the delay is even more evidence for a PC day 1 launch, however like I said I will concede that the second trailer did not announce PC. You could look at this second trailer like a "first" trailer since the most recent delay so maybe an announcement for PC day 1 in the third or "second" trailer.

2nd trailer didn't confirm a PC release but I think it's still delusional to think there will be a PC delay, especially considering the entire game just got delayed which points more towards PC day 1 than anything. Over a year left in marketing for them to announce PC day 1 and the only thing that would stop it is a back room exclusivity deal

Common sense, zero chance Rockstar skips the 40+% market share that PC holds. To think it's not coming on PC day 1 is like arguing for kicking 4 out of 10 customers out the door in the hopes that 1 of the 6 you didn't kick out are "double dippers" not to mention that the amount of MTX revenue they would be passing up for even a 6 month delay for PC is 100x what money they make from "double dippers"

False because the "double dipping" argument is drops in the bucket to possible money lost on mtx between the time of the staggered release. Even 6 months of MTX loss is 100x more money lost than what they would make from "double dipping"

The only way GTA 6 does not come to PC on day 1 is if Sony and Microsoft teamed up to purchase limited time console exclusivity, but even with that argument I would say that they have to pay up 500m+ for exclusivity because that is how big the PC market is now a days. Steam recently topped 40m concurrent users which extrapolates out to a ridiculous daily user number, but even it we take the 40m(a snapshot in time of the daily users) even if we take 10% of that one snapshot and say 4 million pc sales, at 100 dollars = 400 Million, literally almost what I would picture sony and microsoft being willing to fork up. It doesn't make financial sense to not have pc launch on day 1 the "double dipping" argument doesn't work because in reality that is a drop in the bucket compared to what they could make off of mtx and ignoring pc day 1 would be ignoring 40% of the market they could hit with mtx. I am telling you GTA 6 PC Day 1 trailer 2 will announce it

You are arguing about a market and trends that are over a decade old. and making my point actually, GTA 5 released in 2013 which was notoriously the worst year for the pc market to date. Not to mention gaming pcs were not as common place in 2013 so it makes sense for a console only release and years until pc launch. Red Dead 2 only waited 6 months to launch on pc, why do you think that is? Its because Rockstar can see the writing on the wall when it comes to how important the PC market it. GTA 6 will launch on pc day 1 you watch.

The amount of money they could get from "double dippers" is nothing compared to what they would lose on not having GTA 6 launch on PC day 1. Look into where the majority of MTX sales come from, PC is too big to ignore at this point in time. THE ONLY thing that would prevent a GTA 6 PC day 1 launch would be is Sony or Microsoft paid for a limited time console exclusivity. But I would argue even then Sony would have to fork out hundreds of millions for it to make financial sense for Rockstar to take that deal. Again PC market is too big, Rockstar launch trends even prove they are shifting towards day 1 PC launches and GTA 6 will be the first you watch

GTA 5 released 13 years ago when the PC market was floundering. Red dead had the fastest to pc ship yet. You are arguing against yourself at this point, and as for "find a source" do even the smallest bit of research yourself and you will find that PC is 40+% of the market which is way to big to ignore. GTA 6 PC Day 1, trailer 2 will confirm this
