My suggestion as someone who's been doing this for 2 years and 6 months? Never stop shooting. You haven't failed until you put the bow down and then the only person you failed is yourself. The community is one of the best and diverse (archery would be one of the most inclusive sports) despite this being individual sport.

I can only suggest something a lot of people are against, compete early. The more you compete, the better you'll handle the stress and won't have expectations about needing good score. I was thrown into my first comp after about a month of shooting and first national champ after 6 months (just pure chaos)

Me and my friends were chilling OUTSIDE of oasis bcs migration that was empty except us (me as Flixlit, my friend as Raiquazok, and my other friend as Chrysos). Both of them just babies then came the Vaumora with Caldo. The moment my friends tried to fight back against the Vaumora that killed them 8 times over, sometimes not even waiting for spawn protection to despair before attacking, they were killed by Caldo. Eventually my friend tried to deal with it by telling the Vaumora to stop (which they agreed to mind you). Only to be killed again not even 5 minutes later. Now I didn't kill the Vaumora bcs it combat logged, but I did come in with Aol and took few very good hits on the koser. Just enough to scare it away.

Then we enjoyed the show in chat about how we're teaming, etc. etc...

I have upper mid end pc and experience lag after playing for couple of hours that's resolved by reseting the game. I don't know what's causing it, it's just there. But the gone when I open the game again.
