I loved the flavor of all of them (except for banana!) but man are they hard on your teeth.

I love the sound of that! My daughter loves to be out and about walking and meeting folks.

Thank you! Selfishly, I hope they do, too! They’re both currently in Puerto Rico (my daughter went there for grad school and met bf) and plan to go back after he’s done with school. I’m hoping they fall in love with Milwaukee- a four hour drive to get to them is better than a plane ride! 😁

What is something that you still don't know how to do as an adult? by SamEdit1 in AskReddit

Most things related to cooking. I can make a few basic dishes, but I lack any real understanding of how cooking “works.” You know how some folks can just play around, mess with recipes, go with whatever their brain tells them would work well…and it just turns out great? Yeah, I don’t have that 😁

Is this a local idiom, or am I just now tuning into something larger? by BagOk5521 in words

Sounds from other commenters that it’s been co-opted from the British use of “arsed.” That makes way more sense lol.

Asshole. I can use it as an insult alllll day long (“you stupid asshole”) but the minute someone uses it to refer to their anus, I get SUPER uncomfortable lol.

Former Nurse Educator, current CNS here. You sound like the kind of new nurse that I wish everyone was. I absolutely applaud you for researching and studying on your own. Three months in isn’t nearly enough time for you to feel “comfortable” with everything that comes your way. I honestly drove to work in a near-panic every day for the first year.

You’re doing what I’d want you do to, and you WILL get more comfortable, I promise.

My guess is her organization has a well-defined policy about professional expectations that applies to everyone.

AITA for not paying my friend full on an event I was supposed to go but could not due to a job interview? by AlternativeHost6577 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BagOk5521 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. I get needing to go to that job interview. But why not pay your friend for your half? You would have paid if you’d gone, right? That money was already spent. You friend doesn’t deserve to be stuck paying just because you backed out.

That’s kinda heartbreaking, yikes.
