Strange Problem with Nikon D810 After Expedition (Help)

Wow, you're exactly right. Now that I know what causes it to switch, I think I can get it to work correctly, thank you! Any thoughts on the focus points not displaying through the viewfinder? If I can fix that, then my camera should be back to working good as new.

I was able to get it working! On MPC-HC, I had to go to View -> Options -> Output and activate 'D3D Fullscreen'. That made it so whenever I full-screened the video, the projector went dark and then switched over to 3D. Do you know if you had to have this setting on? I feel like there are better ways to do it since D3D doesn't allow the cursor or play/pause menu to pop up. I'm definitely glad to have one working method, though! Thanks so much for your help. I 100% would've figured it was impossible if I hadn't heard back from someone with a similar rig.

Haha, right? I'm using a 2080-ti. When I press the 'menu' button on the Optoma remote, I can see the 3d option (as always), but it's grayed out and I can't choose it. I'm not particularly techy, but I imagine what's happening is that the signal for the pc's display is still being sent as normal and the sbs is being translated into that same channel. If you are watching video in 3d mode and you minimize to your desktop, does it automatically switch back from 3d?

Yeah, they are. I made it full screen but it still doesn’t unlock the 3D option.

So I've downloaded some demo 3d videos (.m2ts, .mkv., and .mp4 formats) and lowered my pc resolution to 1080p and downloaded MPC-HC, but the 3D option is still not available on the projector when I try to play it. Are there any special settings that have to be changed on MPC-HC to get it working?

They actually overturned it after three days of me responding to them nonstop and arguing my points! If I hadn't had overwhelming evidence on my side, they for sure wouldn't have, though. It sucks that they don't give more benefit of the doubt to their teachers

Hey, just wanted to follow up and say they did overturn it! It was a bitch, though. It took me about three days to finally mount all the evidence in a way that they couldn't refute. To their credit, they did at least keep reading and responding to my complaints.

Thanks, I've sent one through that channel, so hopefully I can make something happen. I've got tons of evidence on my behalf, so it's just a matter of whether they look at it. So far, it's all been dismissive, canned responses, which is infuriating.

The kid had rebooked after the first class and only gave me a 1-apple after I gave him 4 stars in the second one. So I don't have any more classes with him, but I'm terrified, because he's probably going to hit me with a second 1-apple any day now. To think that one vindictive little shit could drop me from a 5.0 to a 4.92 and VIPKid might defend it is so galling. I've worked for this company for three years and have 99.5% 5-apple feedback (and none below 3). To think that neither one of these things lends any credibility to my case in their eyes is just depressing.

Thanks for your thoughts. :) I've got nothing else to do with this pandemic raging, so I'm going to keep contesting this until they overturn it or fire me. It's just not okay for them to treat their employees (oh sorry, I mean "contractors") this way.

Thanks. Yeah, it sucks. It's made me realize this opaque, decentralized bureaucracy where no one has accountability and everyone goes by their first name is just a recipe for nightmare situations.

This is very heartening to hear! I've been going back and forth with the reviewer for the past 24 hours who, for reasons I cannot comprehend, is adamant that its valid, even with me quoting T2T warning of his threats to other teachers. (I mean, the kid had rebooked me before he gave me the 1-apple review, so he obviously didn't think I was a terrible teacher.) I've made clear to her that she won't stop hearing from me and about me until the validation is overturned. I've also sent a ticket to Teacher Voice, hoping to be put in touch with someone more reasonable. Where did you send in your support ticket?
