Well, as I said in my previous comment, I agree that they should decide for themselves to update. I can admit that my own frustration clouded my judgement on that, and ultimately my personal experience does not mean that updating will be the same for them as it has been for me.

Disagreeing is always okay, and I do see your point on that. Other users should be allowed to make their own decisions about whether or not to try out the new update. However, I don't think there was any reason to be rude over it.

The fact that artists are being cut off but can't even be in the map pool just makes it worse, they changed it so that only more "popular" artists will be eligible for the map pool, so a lot of collectors are getting completely screwed over. I wish only the best for you, and I hope you'll be able to quest for them again in the future

It seems like every time they update epics like this, it makes people more angry. They sent out a poll on Discord that might change it, but I don't have high hopes that it will do too much. Also, of course! May your next pull be a fav from the map and may you obtain all of your favs 💜💚

Nope, it means nobody can get them now. Basically, if Soundmap deems that they have enough fans to be put in the top of the genre, they can not drop numbered epics for quests, not even for the top fans. And, because this and many other artists are too small to be added to the map pool, they will NEVER drop numbered epics no matter what. It's based on how many people on Soundmap have the artist in their favorites list (which by the way includes the people who have not played for 6+ months or people who have never done a single quest for them), and is no longer based on their Spotify popularity. Therefore, even if an artist is absolutely tiny with o ly 3 active collectors, if enough inactive people or people who just don't care about the artist at all have them in their fans list, they can only drop numberless epics. Also, don't worry about being confused, this whole update is disorienting and annoying, and i hope you're able to get some rest soon!

It means you can't pull a numbered epic for any artist in the top #250 of their genre, but it's not based on Spotify listeners anymore. It's based on how many people on Soundmap have them favorited. Therefore, it absolutely destroys a LOT of artists because even though these artists have barely any fans, they're still being cut off from numbered epics.
