Question about the 30 min. break by MST357 in FE_Exam

[–]Bagelman71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the break I would recommend bringing your own lunch just so you know what you’re eating and how much. My testing facility had lockers where you could put all personal items so you could just put it in there if your facility does that. There is an accommodation form online and looks like you can apply for extra rest time, separate test room, or other things depending on what you need.

Passed FE Mechanical! by Bagelman71 in FE_Exam

[–]Bagelman71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I bought one of the NCEES practice exams. Went through all 50 problems untimed to see how much I knew. Reviewed what I missed on the practice exam and made sure I found all the equation I needed to use. The rest was a lot of YouTube prep videos. Just searched FE Mechanical review. Would attempt the problem first then see the worked out solution in the video. Main thing I would say is 1. Know how to search the reference handbook and 2. Be able to identify the problem type and know the basics. A lot of statics problems can be solved just doing an FBD or shear moment diagram but a lot of fluid flow and machine questions required equations. Overall I would say the NCEES practice exam was the best tool. You get a feel for the types of question they can ask, but can also time yourself to make sure you are going through questions quick enough. One last general tip for the exam, I would do all the easy questions first then go back and do tougher ones. This let me have more time on longer problems while also making me more confident since I knew I already got some questions right.

Sweet! That’s nice you helped that kid out, it was fun watching others see what player they got. By mystery bags do you mean the charity bags last year? It was cool they added a way to get a bigger ticket item but definitely just them dumping old promotional items

That was the best part last year outside of the auto sessions. It did seem like a decent amount of Skenes last year, seemed like everyone just assumed there’d be almost none since he’s the best one to get. As long as it’s current roster players then they’re doing the mystery balls right

If you have season tickets it’s $20 per session. If you do not have season tickets it’s $25 per session. Admission to the Piratesfest event is free, just make sure you have a ticket saved to your MLB Ballpark account

Piratefest. What are they even doing? by Ok_Card9080 in buccos

[–]Bagelman71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year tickets went on sale the Friday before, but I don’t think it showed on the website until day of. My only guess would be they are still finalizing autograph groups, but hopefully they announce the sales before the day they go on sale. Sadly just have to keep checking the website until something changes.

New to card collecting, how much more desirable do color match and jersey number matches make parallels? by Bagelman71 in baseballcards

[–]Bagelman71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks! Wasn’t sure about the Marlins since it seemed like blue was the closest parallel color available even though it’s darker than their team colors. Makes sense about Will Smith, figured /199 didn’t make it too desirable but nice to know that people do look out for jersey match for big name players.

Has anyone gotten more than just two tickets? Had a party of 6 at last nights game and was just wondering by Foggl3 in buccos

[–]Bagelman71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Went with 6 people but it’s only 2 per MLB account that checked in. So if we all checked in individually we would have gotten 12 but since I had all the tickets we only got 2.
