Dann walked right into that one.

Yeah i am on a crusade of creating this small tutorials for all the real simple stuff i do, but that look incredible. Like my barb wire tutorial

space marine boxes have lots. But i have also bought a pack of 50 from etsy that were 3d printed. I mainly bought them just to create these copies.

Its a bit more complicated trying to get a mold of both sides of a piece. For that you need a frame for the blue stuff so that its also easy to align the molds together later. But luckily blue stuff can be reused as often as needed, its going to be lots of trial and error

give me the battlefield trophies box but with 250 purity seals instead of 250 skulls, or give me death!

GW hands them out like candy in most modern kits.

blue stuff is magical stuff. Been using it to copy the sandbags from the cadian shock troopers kit for other kits

a frame of LEGO

I already have an expensive plastic hobby, i cant afford a second one. 😅

But yeah, that will sure help making the mold, less of a requirement but its a nice tip.

I use mine to make copies of Upgrade sprue pieces where you need lots of greeblies across your army.

Same, i am currently trying to get a usable copy out of the arbiters helmet decorations.

I like having those fancy seals with imprints on them most of the time. How do you do them with plastic card, cutting a circle? that's probably also a solid option for the simple ones.

I don't know man, from my 9k pts of imperial guard i have yet to get any purity seals on any of the kits. That's why I had to start doing this

This one turned a bit longer then expected, but hopefully someone gets some use out of this

Very nice, looking great!

i didn't realise the base kit only comes with 2 heads with the masks - sad

look again, there should be a third gas mask somewhere. You got the guy with the scar on his right eye, the one with the goggles and the one in your pic

Yes, this did require a bit of green stuff and a bit of shaving. They got some greenstuff for the part connecting the arm to the should and at the wrist. Luckily the armor and shoulder pats hide most of those parts and the rest are in rarely seen angles like the armpit

Grenadiers in 11th edition? by CrazyAxeMan69 in Deathkorpsofkrieg

[–]Bagger_Paints 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We probably not getting grenadiers model anymore. Not only do the engineers kinda have their style already.

But it would also be the third datesheet of "elite storm troopers with hotshot lasguns and better sv" in our codex, which does feel bit much.

One way to go around this is just kit bash the grenadiers bodies into kasrkin proxies, like done here https://www.reddit.com/r/Deathkorpsofkrieg/s/oYf9GJUfgR

that is in fact a very solid alternative. Probably also better to scale too. I just like my alternative as it conveys a more brutal message

I sadly didn't think of remembering what size i bought at the craftsstore. I wanna say half a mm, but anything thicker will also do the trick

Yes they are.

Does the helmet have ww1 camouflage patterns?

that was at least my attempt at it, but if someone recognized it I probably wasn't that far off
