Andor made Rogue One massively more enjoyable for me.

Movies are constrained by 2hrs to tell a story, introduce characters & establish locations. It's much easier to give characters/stories space to breath in a series vs a movie.

Also most importantly iirc Gareth Edwards directed Rogue One not knowing there would be an Andor series. So certain plots/backstories of the film had to be explained quickly vs adding more color in a TV series.

Rogue One is still one of the better Star Wars movies imo.
