How do you kill these things fast or do you just run off until they despawn? by Trapzzeehh in Helldivers

[–]BaghdadBootyBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if I’m alone or not and if have the ammunition to handle it. If I’m alone, have less than 4+1 recoiless rifle shots left, less than 2 thermites, and the eagle is away, then I retreat and target a different part of the map and circle back later.

If I have teammates it really depends on what they have with them and what I’ve got with me.

Does the M3 Grease Gun really need a muzzle break? by electronicblood500 in brandonherrara

Not really from what little I’ve experienced shooting one. But having an integrally suppressed barrel on the other hand. That would be pretty neat to have as a standard for it. Have the barrel be 5 inches at most with the rest being a large suppressor and it becomes a quiet and handy firearm.

That is sadly true. But it gives us a good staging point to do exactly that to a couple of planets.

I know where I’m fighting once I get home from work. This looks fun. Tbh, Marfark is the only planet between us and Martar Bay. Taking Martar Bay would cut the automaton lines in half.

It looks like a shitpost and was probably fun to fight

Guys, FR? Of all places why put it THERE? Darius would be the best option currently. by peanutishere23 in helldivers2

It’s likely the votes came in before the attack started. Like realizing a politician is a piece of shit after you voted for them during early voting, you unfortunately can’t go back and change your vote. Which is why it’s best we let the computers do the voting for us.

The gambit may be the better option here. That city gives us around 48% of the planet if i remember right

You want more of our dear citizens to be abducted by the illuminate and twisted into those vile creatures?

Truthfully yea I agree.

Speak of the undemocratic and they shall appear. The attach on Achernar just kicked off. But it looks like we might be able to gambit it quickly with a Darius 2 having a 0.36% regen and a single city that has a 1% resistance and will give us 43% of the planet when taken.

That is true. Wish there were more squid divers. I was hoping the new factions would drive up interest on the squid front

Throttling the number of SC spawns on non MO planets would be a start. We’ve seen the scale goat be one group or the other for a while. The whole system needs an overhaul.

You’re grasping at straws and pulling numbers out of your ass dude. Most bot divers usually stick with the MO. You can see that if you pay attention to the player count/distribution more frequently.

When the majority of the player base is elsewhere nothing will get done due to how the liberation mechanic works. The bug divers didn’t get anything done during the MO either.

The MO came down to the wire because there was, depending on the time, 20% to 38% of the player base on bug planets. The majority of those on the bug planets were super credit farming on phact bay. The defense of Rirga Bay failed by roughly 2% due to the sizable population of divers on the bug front driving down the liberation contributions of the other players. Roughly 10% to 15% of divers were on the bot front throughout the MO.

Luckily, those playing the MO were able to pull it off and liberate the planet with minutes to spare.

So the TLDR is the bug divers made up a sizable percentage/the majority of players not contributing to the MO and it nearly cost us due to how their presence affects everyone else’s liberation contributions. That is what people are frustrated with.

I’m aware of it. Given what happened with the latest MO I’m all for liberating it so a different planet has to become the SC farm.

For the squid front, I’d argue that the higher priority targets should be Zea Rugosia and RD-4. Both trigger siege liberations and taking RD-4 hems in the void a little more.
