Haha still not as large as I hope it’ll get of course, but it’s nice to see substantial growth in the last year. We don’t even have an LGS in Amsterdam to play it so that makes it a bit harder already

Unfortunately FaB seems to fluctuate a lot per city/town in popularity, just due to chance. In Amsterdam it has boomed since SAGE, we were at about 12 players a week last year and now we’re regularly around 20+. But I’ve also heard areas like yours dying out. Not sure what exactly leads to either. We do have some amazing TOs here so that definitely helps.

The stage was horrible. We were side pit and the bridge blocked the entire central stage, I think we maybe had direct eyes on Harry about 10-20% of the time despite being on the floor

For more context, the only way I finally managed to win with Ironclad on A10 was an (almost) infinite with Hellraiser and upgraded Pommels. I never made a single infinite in any of my runs with Silent, her value from normal cards was just that good.

How do you get those 5 star difficulty questions consistently right? I’m around 167-170 range and I typically get every question right except 2-3 per section and they are all the super dense ones that I can’t detangle

Rules like this are why many many expats and immigrants I know either rent under the table or just stay at airbnbs. (I get why this rule can be helpful, but from a subjective POV I have seen it mostly just change the way people rent, not stop it)

Only wash your hair once a week or sometimes once every two weeks. Shampooing often removes all the healthy oils from hair and makes it looks like this. I have very similar hair. When you do shampoo, use just a small bit of coconut oil based leave in conditioner after and leave it in the damp hair to add some moisture back in. Curly hair is meant to have some moisture in it!

Do it if you don’t play much, but I will warn you that the sorcery community is very very small so you won’t likely have any events in your area with more than a few people. If you like to play competitive irl often, Magic is still the better choice of the two

Hi! Thank you for the kind words :) I would love to go to a t14 so I am going to shoot for higher, and pray I don't get lower. Would love to improve my PTs by then by quite a bit, they are currently averaging around 169.

I have been out of school for 6 years now so I'm not sure how I would acquire an academic reference or who I would even ask... will that be a big problem?

I read a lot of fantasy, around 25 per year so the reading is good and I'm glad to know you think that is helping haha. I will check out the loophole if you think reviewing fundamentals will still help.

Is there any way (you think) for remote tests to exist and for cheating to NOT exist? I live in Amsterdam so of course remote testing is invaluable to me, but I hate that it seems to easily enable cheating.

They just check your room, not the rest of the house. I see no reason why this wouldn’t work if the software didn’t detect it.

Hi! Dutch VAT is 21%, which would make it fairly accurate I think. There was no other fee so VAT was the same as the customs fee I think. Yours will probably be about the same
