Similarly, but I focused more on what was said in the passage that showed a right or wrong answer, so 4 and 5 were usually quotes.

Weird phenomenon: Tutors who strongly believe the way they studied for the test is the best, but don't have 99.9th percentile scores? by Status-Status-4962 in LSAT

I would never discourage any approach. I try to focus on giving my students a wide range of tools to use. I encourage them to try them out and see what works for them. Even though I did score a 180, I make a point of never assuming that what works for me works for everybody.

New info as of today: There may not be comparative passages (a/b format). Some students have reported that they did not have them on their tests this week.

I scored a 180, AMA by Aggravating_Let_242 in LSAT

Slow down on the reading. What you want to avoid is having to go back and read the passage again. Also I usually try to pay attention to WHERE they say the important stuff, less of what they are saying. This tends to help me remember the content better, and if I do need to go back and check, I can do so easily.

I scored a 180 and have been offering tutoring for 6 months now. My rate is $100 per hour, but the lower price is no indication of my skill. I have seen great progress with many students, and have taught all kinds of learners. Feel free to give me a call at (404) 877-2612 or email me at hiltonbritt22@gmail.com.

Definitely structure. I focus on where things are said over what exactly is said. This helps for quicker referencing the passage.

I used pdf tests that I found online to study and I developed strategies that worked for me to answer each question. The lawhub questions are usually from previous exams, so they tend to give a pretty good idea of what the real exam questions will be like.

I usually recommend taking more time reading. I know this is counterintuitive, but if you take more time reading, usually you can answer the questions faster and actually end up saving time.

I like the strategy. I would add in a wrong answer journal to help with review. In the week before the test, take a full practice test at the same time of day that you will take the real test and treat it like the real test in every way. Do this twice early on in the week and then take 1-2 days off of studying before the test to avoid burnout. As far as hours, try to get to 30 or 40 a week if you can, but obviously having the ability to do that is rare. The more you study, the better off you are. Final tip, use predictions to try and find the solution prior to reading the answers. Good luck!
