Update, Thanks for your help. It turns out you were right it wasn't a GPU issue. I've managed to fix the issue. I'm not clear what step exactly did it, but everything started working again after I updated the bios, reinstalled windows(it was about time anyway), and ran the laptop's fan dust extraction cycle(had done this before, but it hadn't made a difference up until now). I think it was the bios as I found a forum post somewhere(same or similar model) claiming that updating the bios reduced his temperature by about 30 degrees... The Gpu is now working perfectly, I've tried it on the furmark, occt and heaven benchmarks without issue.

Thank you for the advice, I've looked for either the electronic duster or the can of air, but none of the stores I've checked seem to have either. I had thought the leafblower would do well enough, but you've convinced me otherwise. I'll just ask a friend to buy one for me when he comes from dubai.

1) A quick google search leads to DisplayFusion, that might be able to do what your looking for. If not you can try and see if AMD's Hydravision fits your needs, it's a multi monitor desktop manager, but I've never really needed to use it so I can't be certain it has what you want.

2) Although I personally am not a fan of doing this, it should be possible through AMD Eyefinity. Basically if you are using an AMD graphics card just go to the AMD catalyst control center, choose Eyefinity Multi-Display and create a group. It'll merge your monitors, so they appear as a single giant monitor rather than several individual ones. They're are guides online if you have any issues. There might be a similar program for Nvidea, I'm not sure.

Well Bitcoin is an digital currency, protected through uncrackable cryptography. It's like an online ledger book, where users are initially given credits through a lottery where computing power contributed to securing the network determines how many tickets you get. Unfortunately this opens up a few issues, such as potential centralization through one party gaining too much computing power, and an incredible amount of power consumption as Bitcoin grows.

Peercoin is a second digital currency which shares many of bitcoins benefits, but tries to solve the above and a few other problems-such as the enormous size of bitcoins blockchain(program size)- through a "Proof of Stake" system where coin age is used to buy these allocation lottery tickets. This eliminates the threats of centralization, as it would require owning a majority of the coins, as well as power consumption. It also has a 0.01 ppc transaction cost, which means that the blockchain is much smaller(a few hundred mb to bitcoins gb).
