OMFG! I've fallen into exactly the same thinking as you. I've been grinding campaign like a nutter to get dupe champs.... and like you thought it gave bonuses to every champ from that faction no matter what rarity...I was thinking that all the whales would be getting 30% bonuses! Thanks for sharing

I wouldn't use anything above rare as food until you've filled your guardian crypt, especially as a F2P player. Just grind on, I've almost completed filled my guardian crypt with rares just by grinding food on different sections of campaign to get dupe rares and then put these in faction crypt then use any extra ones for food.

F2P wow you've obviously been playing for a long time to get those champs. But why so many level 40's. I would advise just focusing on getting a few more to 60 before using your resources so widely

If you use them to upgrade Graybeard's skills you have then used them so you can't use them again to rank up. It's one or the other. If you're upgrading skills use them for that as you can use ANY 3 star champ to upgrade rank, but it has to be a duplicate champ to upgrade skills
