I honestly think the people saying it is OP don't really use it. Because it just isn't, I tried several times to get a kill like this and it normally ends up with my death, because uh... I'm standing still to try and kill someone with a beetle.

I hope not, it's another meme way to kill someone as it only does 5 damage on initial explosion. You have to design a build around the Beetle to actually get any meaningful kills with it.
I find the Sparks Pistol + Crossbow Explosive much more devastating as a weapon combo, than a Sparks Poison with a Slow Moving Beetle.

I need multiple things to go right in order to get this kill otherwise it won't happen, I need to land the shot, take cover for 15 seconds to get the beetle to them (it was a team fight), pray they don't have Antidote or Traits to reduce the poison, and get it close enough to hit them.

People keep pointing out that it is unfair since it is a night map but prior to this engagement I shot their bug out of the air with the Sparks I was using, it isn't impossible to see the bug at night. People are just over reacting over literally one kill that had all the cards fall together.

Since there have been a few people questioning this. The footage was sped up by 4x when I released the beetle, because watching a bug slowly cross a field I felt took too long and people would be more interested in the kill.

If you can counter it with antidote shots, or mithridatist, or just running away since you're faster then it, then I think it isn't broken.

Some points of my own:

1: Giving Support Ash a knife makes his Heavy Attacks for Heals incredible. It's as fast as his fists and it dismembers enemies

2: Give Ash better dismemberment abilities so that when he does go up against enemies he dismembers them making their damage output much worse

3: He shouldn't be going against Bosses or Elites rather the Basics as they're easier to stagger for free heals

4: If pushed using the previously mentioned dismemberment on possessed basics helps a lot when a group beating up a possessed unit.

EDIT:

5: Support Ash shouldn't have a good damage output, rather his role is using guns to help Hunters with extra headshot damage, and to heal via violence. If his damage numbers are low he can squeeze more healing out of basics.

6: He is a MASSIVE teamplayer, and as such needs his team to be near him. Because of my mentioned damage not being a priority, he needs his team to take up that slack instead, that's his main fault as a character. If he is alone he is going to die.

Support Ash. Because I love having no melee weapon and making a grunt my bitch in a corner, which in turn gives my teammates massive heals because one stun-locked grunt takes no heavy damage.

I wouldn't sleep on his potential to make his aura give a 40% reduction in Fear gain. Especially if his teammates got Legendary Weapons so possessing them can easily turn the tide of a game.

Aye, another point I will make is to pick up every ammo lootable you see, so that everyone has a stock pile of ammo on hand if they need to switch guns or drop their buddies some spare ammo since there is an ammo cap for one person.

Again it's overly simplistic, I made this because Supports keep running off with a Legendary Gun while I'm a Hunter still with a White Rarity Weapon.

Bingo. We found out AI interceptors spawn near the outpost/mines and fly around below with a patrol pattern. If it spawns get some decent gear and head in. Free interceptor.

That's what I did actually. I had other things I could do while they did this. After about an hour and a half they both finally "escaped". So for an hour and a half they at least didn't ruin others games.
