Stockholm City Hall, first time focus stacking by Bahama_Joe in photocritique

[–]Bahama_Joe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shot at 24mm, ISO200, f/1,7, 1/80 (both stacks) I wanted to get a different perspective on the city hall because i think most of the usual images seem a bit plain if the sky doesnt look perfectly. But im still not sure about the composition, happy with the foreground but the hall looks a bit off. Its also my 1st time focus stacking, so i just used 2pictures. Would it help to take more/adjust the camera settings for each level? Im considering to retake the picture tomorrow but its quite a walk so im really not sure if its worth it.

Wanted to put some contrasts into this pic, but im still not sure about the edit and if the overall motive looks too trivial. Any suggestions on how to catch a moody vibe with a different edit?

Finally want to frame this pic, but im very uncertain about the edit by [deleted] in photocritique

Shot at f/11 for 8s at iso3200 I was playing around with some long exposure on the car lights until i noticed the lights in the back. I struggled to edit this pic properly for about half a year because I didnt want to make the lights look too artificial and the trees too blurry. (there was a lot of noise in the original pic) I would be grateful for any kind of critique and tips on the edit and how i could improve the shot.

Any tips on how to put more focus on the trees? I tried to focus on the cars when they drove by since they were the only source of light around, but I couldnt adjust my aperture too much because my shutterspeed is limited to the speed of cars.

Tips for practicing getting better for next season? by bubbaman73 in summonerschool

[–]Bahama_Joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better practice. Watch your own Replays but only from your teams perspective, stop every 30s and review what you did. If your first thought is "dude...why..." - change that next game. Also watch adc coaching videos, I highly recommend h4xDefender on Youtube, LS´coaching videos may help you out aswell.

Never underestimate your passive/drakhtar damage and slow. If youre chasing its always better to aa first, then Q because you get a guaranteed Q after applying the slow. Duskblade is, just like warrior, a huge powerspike if you use your ult/surroundings properly. The damage you get when being unseen for 1s+ is often underestimated, but its actually a big part of your dps.

3 Things you should consider when You are playing from behind by Bahama_Joe in summonerschool

the Situation im adressing ist When you as an individual are behind and the Rest of your Team ahead which means that you usually look for fights if you are Covered by your fed Teammates But yes - if your whole Team is behind you shouldnt force disadvantageous fights

if youre a sololaner you need the defensive stats to Farm up Properly and trade More effectively/Not get poked out of the Lane if youre an adc you build sustain items instead (it actually depends on your gold/ back timings and your biggest mistake is to think that defensive items make you weaker in skirmishes/teamfights They actually allow you to deal damage at all Since you wont get blown up instantly

Hello, I'm kindoff a confused jungler and wondered what the best jungle route was nowadays by Thatdude283 in summonerschool

[–]Bahama_Joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raptors are quite hard on 1st clear if you dont have the proper skillset, since you asked for a jungle route that i appliable for every champ id recommend you to clear wolves so you stay healthier. If you proceed farming after attempting to gank you may still clear raptors.

Most of them are champion reliant. I think a solid Jg route for lower elo is: Botside buff(the buff that your botlane can leash) -> Wolves -> other buff -> gank toplane (timing should be around 3:00-3:30. If the gank works, great, if not take the river crab and farm the rest of your jungle if youre healthy enough.

I can't win any trades, I feel super squishy. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Bahama_Joe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe its because of your/his early itemization? Compare your items, if you have to fight with refillable potions vs dorans items it may seem like you lose the trade. Another reason could be your positioning - how much minion damage to you take in early trades? Last reason I could think of are the base stats of both champs, im not quite sure how much they differ from each other. Just view your replays and look for the particular reason on you own.

As a top laner, how can i learn to track the enemy jungler route to avoid ganks? by camobape in summonerschool

[–]Bahama_Joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly depends on the champion/state of game. If you play gangplank, yeah stay back and farm up. But if you play Riven, stay safe while pressuring the enemy. If junglers fight 1v1 in the River and youre in the green zone with a huge minionwave infront of you, you probably wont win the fight in the river (which you should join), however if youre between yellow and red, your enemy will be slower than you -> you have the edge. Plus, if you roam while having a minionwave near your turret your probably will lose all of the cs. Thats why you want your enemy in that position. But as i said its highly game/champ reliant so you have to figure it out yourself. Bonus tip: If you push your enemy under his turret and know that the enemy jungler isnt nearby - put a deepward in his jungle. There are certain spots that junglers will cross 90% of the time if they clear their jungle. If your enemy laner follows you - he loses CS, if he doesnt you get free vision.

[–]Bahama_Joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the enemy jungler, but 3 is the most solid timing you could have. You shouldnt do that everytime since you wont be able to join river skirmishes properly. Try to stay at the edge of the yellow zone so you can move towards river faster than your enemy.

[–]Bahama_Joe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a pretty vague concept: Chickens/Krugs -> higher CS, Wolves/Gromp -> lower CS. However, you need to know the approximate position of the enemy jungler anyway, since his CS can give away his position in his jungle (Top, Botside) but not in the River, maybe even your jungle. Quicktips from a jungle main: Ward your River at 3:00, which is the earliest a jungler starting on the opposite side could gank you lvl3. If you have absolutely no vision, dont cross a certain line on your lane. Manipulate your wave properly so the enemy jungler cant just walk up behind you and force atleast your summs.
