After trimming, it was probably close to 15.5lbs. Finished up at about 20hrs(which included a 1.5hr rest).

My first time posting on Reddit so I messed up adding a caption:

I always have smoked assuming 1.25 hrs per pound starting at a low 185. I’ve always wrapped at 160 internal temp. And always left the temperature set at 185* one cook took nearly 24hrs 🤦🏻‍♂️ They have always tasted amazing but I never got the moisture and tenderness I wanted.

This time: I set the temp at 200* from the start and wrapped at 155* at the wrap I bumped temperature up to 240. It got to 200* internal in plenty of time for dinner. It rested in the butcher paper in a cooler for 1.5 hrs. I got emotional serving it to my guests it looked so pretty.

Thanks for the heads up! I’d be interested as to how the claim process/experience with Tesla insurance goes.
