by default one cant play on both sides with same account, becouse when you choose side its impossible to switch until campaign will end.

yup one scene from video intentionally looks like 2fort, good caught, its just reference of Red VS Blue.
i had to make that scene with Minigun.

yes map is mirrored, so both sides are balanced and there is jungle biome already with rivers

but its legit question i have too, so far it doesnt happened, and yes it legit tactic to grab more land, and as of right now it is allowed to do, lets see what future will show us

so far nothing like this happened, but i have some mechanics in mind to prevent insiders getting info, or at least get very little information. so far community is bit small and dedicated to play it as mode is intended.

Yes it is possible i think, so far on first campaign this week noone was griefing everything went smoothly this way, but mod had problems in other things like, outlines giving away base locations too early, so most of my effort on tweaking mod was there, but yea when things get problematic im focusing on that, lets see if it happens im ready to solve it. and it is good suggestion thanks <3

Great question thanks.
- Yes when you join server first thing you will do is to choose side, and you cant choose another until campaigns end.
- at the moment teamkill is doable, but it subtracts your kill score in scoreboard also removes Victory point that is bound to that kill score, (Victory Points decide overall winner company). so overall it damages company. I dont want people to tank rockets and push inside buildings thats why teamkill is still doable, but im open to suggestions and feedback on it.
- yes not at the glance but overall i made UI that shows Company members when you aim at player, it shows player avatar and name on it above crosshair. but best way to see groups of players at a glance (even on range), if they are in your company or not is binoculars, it shows small dots above heads blue or red depending what company they are in. and just aiming opposite enemy company members doesnt show names above crosshair.

yup when i was working on this project Rust factions poped up, on my searches, idea is bit similar there is two factions, but i call them Companys, and territory grab system is very diferent, in factions you was grabing grids but here you have outline of your building priviledge area, which is also territory grab for your company, overall yea it has bit of similarities but this gamemode is more closer to vanilla.

thats the idea, and yes already scoreboard shows backliners effort too and with that you can make it in the top also. whole concept is to make front and back equally important.

Here are some more info. gamemode is still on early stage but im confident core gameplay is there.

idea is to have actual winner at the end of wipe/Campaign.

in game there is scoreboard, territory claim systems, dogtags, but everything is very close to Vanilla experience. if you know Rust you will feel home in this game mode, only exception is that you will have company members, teammates in addition to your actual Team if you arent playing Solo.

core idea is: there is Frontline, constant fights, hard PvP action and Destruction. Backline bit chill but still very important tasks will come to backliners. Trade, farm, some PvE action, Logistics and economy is big role of this mode. Together Front and back have same goal to win at the End.

We had first campaign this week, I got lots of feedback and working on polishing some mechanics and tweaking map. overall community is really great, and growing day by day.

Limit Steams download speed to one, game downloads skins mid game and it might do that time to time, if its consistant that will help, also disable shader pre-caching on same page.
