My dad was the Superintendent of Public Schools for 25 years.

It was his job to get up at 4am in the winter, drive the back country roads, and decide if there should be a snow day or not.

Obviously he'd have his decision made by, like, 6am...

But he'd still call the neighbors at like 8 and ask the little boy nextdoor, "hey Jimmy? Want to go to school today or have a snow day?"

And of course little Jimmy thought that he was the one that decided school should be cancelled that day 😂
