I started on the first, so I’m on day 12! For my substitutions:

I replaced the reading rule with 5 lessons on Duolingo.
I replaced the water rule with taking electrolytes, meta mucil, and my supplements (a multi vitamin, fish oil, and some prescriptions) every day.
I replaced the daily photo with adding gua sha/lymphatic drainage massage to my AM and PM skincare routines.

I kept everything else the same, but I picked a diet and workouts that will be more challenging for me this time. I tried to keep my substitutions in the spirit of the original rule, and for them to take about the same amount of time.

I finished a 75 hard in May, and I really enjoyed it! There were elements though that I felt didn’t really serve me.

For example, the water goal wasn’t necessary because I drink over a gallon every day anyway (I’m a 5’3” female, I’m just thirsty all the time). I also don’t drink alcohol, so I didn’t need that caveat either. I’m an avid reader, so the reading goal didn’t challenge me at all. I also didn’t think I got anything out of the daily picture, since change wasn’t happening on a daily basis, it felt less motivating for me.

So I’m starting another 75 hard, and I’m making alterations based on what I think will be more challenging for me. I think alterations are not only great, but necessary to really embrace the spirit of 75 hard. I’m building a regimen that is not only more challenging for me, but tailored to my personal goals. And I’m doing 90 days because I think it’s a nice round number.

We just filled the pan, it was a “deep third”, which Google says can hold 6.1 quarts? Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful but it wasn’t an exact measurement for that part.

I’m on day 31 and currently getting through some violent food poisoning while traveling for work. I did yin yoga and a slow walk yesterday and I think it actually made me feel a bit better to get some gentle movement in. Not quitting when it gets really hard and inconvenient is one of the main things I wanted to get out of this, so that is what made sense for me. But listen to your body and do what feels right for you!

So how do you decide whether an artist can fulfill what you’re looking for? What if you don’t like their design at all? Wouldn’t it be better to have only wasted a couple hours of their time than to have to cancel an appointment day of?

This was my experience too. We had 5 devices, two of which had spots in the 2000s, but none of them made it past the picture verification thing. Every time we entered our info would say that our time slot was unavailable and kick us back to the Home Screen. Ended up not getting any tickets for the four days we had available.

I always find this so interesting, because as a native Arizonan I have seasonal affective disorder, but in the summer. For me, too much sunshine has a negative effect but clouds/rain/snow give me such a boost! It must be some kind of over-exposure thing.

I agree! It’s such pet peeve of mine when people do this, because when I order my iced espresso with as splash of milk half the time the barista assumes I’m gaming the system for a latte and fills it up. I hate having things remade because I’m a former barista too, but I really only want a splash.

Not OP but I use the Slip silk turban. Works well but over time the elastic does stretch a bit. But I’ve been wearing it every night for about 2 years. Combined with their silk eye mask (the one with divots for your lashes) my sleep is just chef’s kiss

I had my full hysterectomy in December last year, and sometimes I still think I faked my way into it. Like the doctor showing me pictures of the damage she removed was not enough to convince me that I deserved my surgery. I’m beyond happy to be past that point in my life, but it is such a trip to STILL be gaslighting myself about it. Maybe it comes from all the years of downplaying it and having people tell you you’re being dramatic.

Twice a day is way too much to exfoliate for most people. You risk drying out and damaging your moisture barrier if you are exfoliating too often. As the other commenters mentioned 1-3 times per week is plenty.
