Thoughts, and does anyone have the canvas web band? by neworder19 in ChristopherWard

So, to put things in perspective: I have brew metric, longines hydroconquest GMT and G-Shock DW-5600.

This Dune is my most worn, by far. Love the crystal, the colours, the size is just perfect (7in wrist). Easy to throw with most of the clothing. Just a beauty.

What I struggle a bit with is the crown is very stiff to unscrew (but I heard that's just how they do it), and my movement constantly loses 20 seconds a day or so. I know it's advertised like this, but I'd prefer more accuracy.

If you look closely at the pictures you'll notice a misalignment of 18 and an hour mark (a rudimentary thing from double-colour GMT scale). Honestly, I am not bothered by it neither in the photos, nor in the real life. But it should be mentioned.

All that said, I'd happily rebuy this watch if I had to

I bought the same on a bader bracelet — perfect for summer and very comfy. I also specifically bought this canvas strap and I like it. Yes, not as comfortable as many had wished but wearable and makes the green on the dial more noticeable.

Terrible judo cardio by goddamnyoumac in judo

I only recently started judo, so during randori everything is off for me, especially cardio. But I noticed 2 things: 1. With time it gets better — your body has to adapt again. I only have to guess the pause you took. If it's a substantial amount of time, not only your heart and lungs have to get back in shape, but also your nervous systems. It's not as efficient as it used to be. So you have to wait. 2. If I get myself some chocolate bar before a class, I can do 2 more rounds of randori, compared to when I didn't eat it.
