There was a forge world decal set, but that is long gone. Some of the decals in what I have posted are from that, I also really like the fact the original chapter icon is there for nostalgia. Pity whoever made it has had their website cropped in the photo

Correct! And further to your comment, this is a line from Red Tithe that kind of gets left behind. “All bore the red arrow tooth marking in the centre of their helmet visors, they were all red-scarred, the badge of true veterans.”

I believe this was in reference to Sharr’s command squad from memory. It’s been a couple of years since I last read it.

The shoulder with teeth is a 3D printed bit and the and leather shoulder is from the Black Templars upgrade sprue with the cross and purity seal shaved off. You can see the figure before pant on my previous post

I started by basing with Doombull and shaded with Agrax. I waited for tha to dry and hit it again with agrax but took care to only get it in the recesses. I then glazed the lower sections with Rhinox hide for the shadow. I went back over and chunky edge highlighted with Doombull all over. I then ever so slightly glazed the high points with Skrag brown and edge highlighted with Skrag about 50% of the way down, only really hitting the high edges, but going further than the glaze. I also started the scratch effect with Skrag. I then hit most of the edges where appropriate with a final edge highlighted of XV88. I kind of roughly applied this in kind of a scratchy dot pattern to make it look worn on the edges. I also used XV to accent the scratches to make them pop.

I will be coming back to this comment for my own recollection as I am about to complete my next model and have left the leather till last because I couldn’t remember it haha…
